How many silkie chicks can this brooder fit?!?

I recently had a rabbit pass away, and he has this little travel hutch, so we thought we could turn it into a brooder. I have 4 silkie babies in there ATM, but I have 9 more eggs scheduled to hatch. Will I have to make a new brooder. (Pics below)

How long are you planning to keep them in there?

Will they be in there the whole time or let out into a larger area part of the time?

Yes, and a much bigger one too.

The little travel cage you are using at the moment is quite small even for the four chicks living there.
They will also need much more space very soon and be able to explore and roam outside catching natural sunlight to prevent health and behavioural issues.

We plan on keeping them in there for another week, then moving them in to a small coop, then into their larger coop.
