How many silkies can u fit into a 1 ft x 1.5 ft area?

i have a little lame D'Uccle pullet that's in with the silkies. She manages to get right smack dab in the middle of all of them to sleep. i've watched her climb over the top of the pile, then sink down into the warmest spot.
