it's made of cedar.

might not be so good for the girls.

but to answer the question i think it might fit 2 or 3 as long as you add a run to it too! i get old dog houses from people who don't own dogs anymore, clean them up & add hinges to the roof, add a run and viola!

my large coop is cedar and they have been in it for 14 months. Cedar that bothers the chickens is shavings that has fresh cedar oils that out off fumes.

Cedar lumber is dried and it does not contain all the fresh oils.
There are alot of people that have cedar coops and they with stand the wet weather well and in Montana we have hard winters.
