How many toes are chicks suppoed to have?

My recently hatched polish has 5 toes on each foot...I was thinking of naming her ET (extra toes) LOL

Are you sure you've got a polish? Sultans have five toes too.

Polish should only have 4 toes. Silkies and Faverolles have 5 toes.

The breeder i got it from gave me a mix of eggs and she wrote polish on it...Ill take a pic as soon as shes dry for everyone to see she is mostly white/yellow with black on her back

houdans are a crested clean legged bird with 5 toes. at the county fair there were some labeled polish, I fixed it

Some have 4 some have 5. Depends on the breed.

as far as i can see she has bare feet and legs so not a sultan..But she is white and black doesnt look very yellow
