How many treats are TOO many treats?

I don't know about you, but i'm finding myself giving all the bread heels, end of carrots and scraps to my flock whenever i can. but i find myself wondering how many treats are TOO many treats?

One rule of thumb is not over 10% of their diet. When scraps are all veggie, it does cut into their protein intake some. Some scraps are more nutritious than others. They love bread but it doesn't offer much nutrition, especially plain old white bread. If you give them table scraps that are leftovers of your own balanced meals, that should be closer to regular feed, of course. I think a lot depends on what scraps or leftovers you give them.
