How many 'wash'/'don't wash' your eggs?

O.K. so I'm fairly new to the chicken game and I haven't washed any of mine I just put them in the fridge unwashed, because so far we've had 36 non dirty eggs. But what I'm really curious about is the no refrigerating, if I don't wash I don't have to put them in the fridge? How long can you keep them without refrigeration? We have bantams so sometimes I save up a weeks worth of the little eggs and then make a meal with them, can they sit out that long?

Thanks,
Jody

We leave ours out right on the counter for up to 2 weeks (the ones WE eat) and we never wash them. If they are dirty (had VERY few of those) then I will sand them with a little lite sand paper and put them in the fridge right away. Any we sell go right into the fridge. We don't wash those either but I put a note in saying to rinse them with water before using. The few dirty eggs we do get we keep for ourselves. It doesn't bother us at all. We clean them and eat them

I wash eggs I sell in a commercial egg wash detergent.

For eggs we eat around the house, I don't bother.

To sell eggs, at least in Ohio, they have to be kept below 40 degrees until I hand them to the customer. So ours go into the fridge immediately.
