How many waterers and feeders?

I have a small mad house, 5 hens and a rooster that are 2.5 years old, 2 different sets of 2-3 month old pullets for another 10 and have 4 waters and feeders set up outside
plus 3 small feeders and one big waterer in the brooder where I currently have 6 -week old baby chicks

My coop is new and I'm still figuring ways to add a feeder, more perches, etc. :)

the hardest part of placing a feeder is to place it where feed can stay dry, but you can easily access it/fill it/place it or remove it/clean it. We use a hanging feeder, and with blowing wind/rain or snow, it can get wet but it needs to be really blowing. We remove our feeders every night, so we can clean them if needed (usually not a problem). So, find the feeder solution and then place perches, etc. good luck.

We have over 20 chickens. Currently we have 3 water spots: two open 1 gallon galvanized pans placed on elevated blocks, and one 5 gallon galvanized waterer. We try to keep these in the shade, so the 5 gallon waterer has a 2’x6’ scrap piece of OSB propped in front (leaning against the wall) to provide shade, with enough room for birds to pass between waterer and OSB. We have two hanging 7lb feeders, in separate areas. We placed them where they could stay dry and were easy enough for us to place and remove daily.

Overall, I recommend at least 2 water and feed stations. We’ve had ostracized birds and have mixed ages, so more than 1 station helps the lower ranking/disliked birds to still get food and water and keep their space from more dominant birds.
