How many wine makers do we have here?

How does it taste? Maybe that's all it's going to do. It won't hurt to let it sit a while and see if anything starts gain. Sometimes the "shock" of being moved can make it stop. If it tastes okay, there's no reason to worry.

How long was it in the bucket?
It was in the bucket 7 days. Smell and taste ok ,dry, tart a little alcohol smell and taste.
The yeast I used was lavvin k1-v1116
Thanks for any info. Totalcolour

When you prepped the fruit, how much additional sugar did you add?

It really sounds like it's done fermenting. If it's dry, then it can't ferment anymore. The yeast you are using has an alcohol tolerance of 18% (according to Lalvin) so you are probably done. As a test, you could take a small portion, and add some sugar in a separate container (I have small Erlenmeyer flasks for this) and see if it referments. If it does, then it most probably means the large container is out of sugar and won't ferment anymore. Your wine is DONE !

Yes, it still has a bit of a "green" or unfinished taste. The citrus is very evident in it, I think it is going to be a crisp flavor when it finishes.

Yes pretty much. Not sure it is worth all the hassle and keeping it for so long (limited space and storage in my small house.) for both the making process and the Keeping of gallons of wine for drinking. For the actual amount of wine I drink, and that there are several store bought ones I really like. I still want to make at leas the cherry wine that I have the cherries frozen for, but can't until I get this batch cleared enough to bottle.

Just started my first batch of cider!! I'm trying out two different yeasts, an ale and a lager. Going for a long, cool ferment. I haven't done any fermenting beyond making vinegar in my warm pantry (keeping the cider far away, at the other end of the house).

I'm using glass milk bottles because that's what I have on hand...luckily the bungs I ordered fit perfectly. The closest homebrew store is either 2 hours away in Nashville or 2.5 hours away in Louisville. You'd think there would be one closer, what with this county's long held tradition of bootlegging in mind. Hmm, maybe I'll open one...

Looks so good!

I got a Vino-o-meter today, did i waste my money on it? The only store in the state did not have a refractometer so i got the vino-meter.The store owner did not know how to use it.
