How many?

    How many chickens can I get before my flock is considered a commercial operation? is there a size limit? I want lots of chickens but I dont want to get a permit or get in trouble. I live in dewdney bc just outside mission

    On the MN prairie.
    I think you are going to have to check our local laws and ordinances. Every town, city, county, state (or province) has different laws. What may apply to me on the MN prairie, 20 miles from the nearest town and a mile from the nearest neighbor will not apply to you or someone living in a "rural" area who owns and acre of land and has neighbors' houses within yards of their property line.
