how mix chicks of different ages

I have 3 4 week old chicks and 4 two week old chicks. When I put them together, one of the month old chicks attacks the 2 week olds. I want to integrate them before they get too old. Any ideas? What is the best way to combine chicks of different ages? Is it better to wait until they are all a similar size or do it now when they are young?

The best way is to put them together where they can see each other, but are separated by wire. After they see each other for a few days, let them together and see how they are. The younger the better in my opinion for these 2 ages.

Thanks for the advice! Is it normal for one chick to keep pecking on the others when they are first mixed? How much to tolerate before I should be concerned?

Yes it's normal, obviously if theres any blood you should be concerned. If you leave them somewhere long enough where they can see each other but not hurt each other (like a pet carrier or small cage) the pecking shouldn't be too bad
