I bought injectable noromectin, which is the generic brand of ivomec. I saw pus coming out of the chicken's eye, immediately, after one drop of ivermectin is on the eye. I read it somewhere, that I should put 2-3 drops on the eye daily, until the eye worms are dead. I want to be sure, if that is the correct dose, and whether I should do it daily, until all of the eye worms are dead.
I couldn't see any eye worm, more than an hour after the eye have ivermectin. Since several days ago, I can see it instantly and anytime. Did they went into the deeper part of the third eyelid, or did they die? However, I can still see an eye worm wiggling, on the other chicken that get treated with ivermectin, about an hour after the treatment.
