HELP!!! Swollen chicken eye about to burst?

Can you open the eye lids and get a picture?

No the eye won’t open but a tiny crack. Just enough to put antibiotic drops in it. I’ve tried using hot compresses to soften it up and still nothing.

Got it! I had to drain more blood to soften it so sorry about all the blood.

The eye looks intact. It does look painful. Hopefully @casportpony will chime in.

Could it be just really bad pink eye? Staph infection.
