how much(appx) will processed wgt. be?

I have 11 7 1/2 wk old cornish-x bb's and the biggest one is 8+ lbs. what would the approximate processed weight be? I was going to do them this past weekend and my son(In college) had papers due so he couldn't help me(I have never processed,yet) so they will PROBABLY get done this coming weekend. they run amuk for 6 -10 hrs. everyday so their legs are strong(thank goodness) and at this rate they will be 9 lbs. by the time I get them done.

You will lose approximatly 1/3 of the live weight. If it weighs 6 pounds live, it should dress around 4 pounds.

My processor says you loose about a 1lb .. and he was right.. took mine in at the same age and they averaged 5lbs.. being individual from 4-7 dreesed.. 39 of them..
