The worth has alot to do with colors.

India blue split to another color or pattern worth more than a blue not split to anything.
Main reason split birds are worth more than non split birds is the time it takes to breed a new color in a pattern.
People new to peafowl sometime thinks they are like mutts, not so.
It takes at least 6 yr to add a color to say , silver pied
Good record keeping is a must, so you know what your peachicks are spilt with.
