How much are you paying for layer pellets?

I use star milling brand called ace high and Its $18 for a 50ibs
I agree I if all possible refuse to buy Purina its not that good of quality and its $2 more then star milling and if something is wrong its easer to work with star milling

I just looked up Star Milling locations and we have a feed store right near my location and I see they do carry organic. Thanks for the brand, it's a little less expensive.

$9 for Dumor layer pellets here in SW Tennessee...although, I buy at TSC in North Mississippi for TN SALES tax evasion /img/smilies/big_smile.png

**Edited to add that is per 50lb. bag as well
I also get the same at tsc But I pay $13.49 you are lucky.!

I don't buy Purina, poor quality.

I was told it was the best feed.Because it was consistent.A fellow That works At Southern States.Told my friend that Purina was a better feed. And Southern states grind their own feed.He said they go by the price of corn.wheat and oats. And if corn is cheaper they put more corn in their feed. Its what they pay less of.is what they use.more.when they grind feed.I know it sounds confusing.I don't keep up with the stock market.

Care explaining how it is poor quality?
Other than the lower end feed not having animal proteins it is a fairly good feed.
There Show Feed and there WildLife feeds are a good mid-range feed.
Purina Mills is affiliated with/owned by Land-O-Lakes which makes one of the best Exotic Animal Feed/ Zoo Feeds you can get.
I used both Purina WildLife Game Bird feed and now use Mazuri Game Bird Feed which is Land-O-Lakes line of Exotic Animal Feed/ Zoo Feed and both at very good feeds.

Incase you don't know Purina Mills and Purina Pet Care is to completely different companies and are owned by two companies.

Purina Mills (livestock feed) owned by Land-O-Lakes
Purina Pet Care (pet feed) owned by Nestlé.
