I'm considering switching to an organic soy free non GMO feed, once all my girls are laying, that I can get from a local farm. It's Countryside Organics and They are charging $39 for a 50lb bag. I'm just wondering if this is a typical price or if it's a little high? Right now I'm feeding purina flock raiser at about $19 for 50lb. I don't like the cost but we avoid soy for ourselves and there are studies that show soy ends up in the eggs. A lot to think about!

They offer Rogue non soy/non GMO layer pellets for $25.15/50 pounds. I love this company! We live in a rural area where so many items aren't available. I hope this helps some of you out! They offer a few different feeds.
