I adopted a Duck from the School I work at .
He has a bad leg .
I keep him in my Garage that is attached to the house .

It gets kind of cold .
How low of a Temperature can they take ?

It would help to know what region you are in.

People routinely keep them in outside enclosures in fairly far northern places with harsh winters, like Nothern Michigan, Minnesota, and New England. They MUST have a sheltered place they can stay warm, like an insulated doghouse filled with dry straw, and they should be shielded from harsh winds. You also need to change their water out at least twice a day, or put a submersible bucket heater in it, so that they have access to water.

A garage would probably be just fine to overwinter a duck, assuming you're not someplace like the Yukon.

I have ducks that have survived 14 degree weather.
