We just purchased baby chicks and are first time buyers. We've had several die very sudden. I've read on here to give them Corid for Cocci which might be our potential threat here. Does anyone know how much to give them??

If it's the Corid 9.6% liquid solution, the dosage is 9.5ml per gallon of water for 5 days. CC's and ML's are the same.
If it's the Corid 20% soluable powder, the dosage is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5 days.
Keep in mind that sick birds usually dont drink on their own. You'll have to use an eyedropper and put a couple of drops of the mixture on the side of the beak for her to drink. You'll have to do this about 5-6 times a day until she can drink the mixture on her own.

That's a copy of dawg53's post, here https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/775739/blood-in-older-chicks-stool#post_11087272
