How much DE do you put down?

Just remember with DE that you don't want to breath it in. So try to keep your dust down while you are in the coop. Not good for the lungs.

some feed store carry it. Just make sure it is "FOOD GRADE" anythingelse is toxic. I know someone here has the website that lots of people use, brain-fog can't remember what it is.

I use DE about once a month in my coop and run. I fill a coffee can and just scatter here, there and yonder leaving a thin layer and sometimes piles which I just scatter with my foot. I use to use a flour sifter and sift a layer everywhere but that got tiring real quick.
