How much DE in the coop and run?

I have my food grade DE but want to know how much I should use in the coop and run. Sprinkle it about inside the coop, rake it into the soil in the run using several cup fulls? Any advice greatly appreciated.

That sounds fine, I do it every couple of days. You can't hurt anything (pet wise) if you accidently use too much. I even mix it in their food. It helps as a dewormer, and had been suggest to prolong the life of your chickens, as well as increased productivity.

I sprinkle it pretty good in everything I can Coop floor/nest boxes/run's/feed storage areas/compost pile ect. I don't work mine in as the chickens do this themselves which is best.
