How much do pigeons eat?

Pigeon food at the Family Center here is $22.00 for a 50lb bag. How long would that last between two pigeons?

i give my pigeons 1 table spoon of food each but when breeding i give 2 for the tumblers and 3 for the homers what birds do you have homers eat more than tumblers

Oh okay, thats not too bad! I don't have any pigeons yet, still deciding on which breeds and such. I will probably get them next year, since i have yet to build their loft and I figure it will be one less winter chore I have to mess with.
