How much do Turkeys poop daily?

I am considering getting some Beltsville small white turkeys. But I am wondering how much a normal turkey poops per day? And how much your turkeys poop per day?

It's considerable. lol. Not really sure how to put it. It's alot more than chickens especially when they get big. No idea the poundage, but 40 broad breasted bronze will easily fertilize at least two acres over 16 weeks.

This is not pertinate if you arent planning on raising the birds on grass...., but I looked up some old info in my cattle books. I guess the terminology is called, in this case, a "turkey acre day" which is how many turkeys can be on one acre for one day. Every pasture is different in terms of its productive seasonal volume as well as its fertilizer needs, but we run our turkeys on a 2240 "turkey acre day" basis. Meaning if we had an acre to dedicate to each single day of growth, we would need 112 acres to raise 2240 turkeys for 16 weeks. Another way to put it would be 20 turkeys per acre over 16 weeks. A little confusing, but this is an important concept to determine stocking density if you are raising turkeys on grass.
