How much do you charge for eggs?

Here in Missouri just a bit west of St. Louis there is a farm up the road that sells "Farm Fresh Eggs" for $4:50 dz. I have only given away some extra eggs that I have gotten but I only have three hens that are laying right now.

In Alaska eggs are going from 3.25 a dozen to the feed store (they resale them 4.50-6.00 per Dozen)
Grocery stores are getting 3.50 for Farm Fresh brown eggs (supposedly)
I am selling mine out the door 4.50 per Dozen, and even family members are buying them.

I am only getting 18-24 per day from my 36 hens and I have a Roo.
I don't really care about the $$, but it does help feed them and they are helping to feed me.

I was seperating them by weight., then pricing...that's a pain, so, now it,s a straight $3.00 doz.

Different sizes and different colors... they love them. i'm not out to make a profit, but it would be nice. just help with maintenance.

We live in an area where alot of people have their own fresh eggs. Most people get $1.50 a doz out of them.

We have decided to do something different with our eggs
