I don't cry a lot unless I lose a dear friend, family member, or one of my favorite birds. The only time I recall crying a lot last year, was when my doves died.
I've never been a crier, those statistics sound extremely high. Although I was raised with a lot of love, it was also clear that tears wouldn't have any effect on anything.
I've always hypothesized that crying (like screaming) is the result of thinking that help is coming. And some people train one another to expect help to follow after eyeball water.
