How much do you love chickens?

My boyfriend said it was either him or the chickens. The chickens and I miss him.

Seriously, he did complain that the chickens were taking valuable time I could be spending with him, but I reminded him that, tops, I spend about 2-3 hours a day doing chicken-related stuff - cleaning the barn, bringing treats, whatever - and the other 21 hours are all his, almost. He ended up staying. lol

I'll make sure to let him know that my BYC friends think he should help. That will get him off his rear... NOT

He does like the eggs though.

I love my chickens. My girls lay so many beautiful, and tasty eggs. My roosters keep watch for trouble and are handsome fellows. I even love my rowdy and way overly aggressive roos. I took them to dinner. Their names were Bar, Bee, and Que. They were delicious
