I just bought a few lohman brown hens and they are all 30 weeks old but some of them are laying very big eggs. Is that good or is it putting a strain on their bodies. The next picture is a egg layed today.

This is an egg layed by one of my 32 week old barnfelder mix pullet.

Nice eggs,,
Here is some info that you may find useful.
Often when hens start laying,, they occasionally lay double yolkers. Yes,,, it does look like it would strain your hen to express such a large egg,,,,,,,,,,,, but they do it.
And,,,, there is nothing you can do to change that. Usually things return to normal size eggs in time.
These things do vary from different breeds of chickens. Most pullets start laying small eggs,, and eventually get to where they lay the usual size for that breed.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome

Congrats on the first eggs! Nothing you can do to change egg size as that's determined by her genetics, what she lays is what she lays. Just enjoy the fresh eggs, she'll be just fine
