How much do you pay for feed??

I've contacted them and also checked out the dealers, they didn't carry the Elite one. I'm looking for the Texas Natural brand Layer Crumbles and Chick Starter in Elite since poster is in Willis, curious which feed store.

Just paid $19.99 for 40lb Nutrena naturewise all flock 20% protein. So for 50 lbs it would be about $24.98

Update on the almost $37 I was paying for Kalmbach 20% Flock Maker at Chewy. I found a local mill who has agreed to special order it in for me at $22 a bag. I highly recommend everyone who is buying their feed off of chewy to use Kalmbach's supplier map to find someone local. The mill's website did not have Kalmbach listed which is why i originally did not even think to ask or look, but after seeing them on Kalmbach's map and contacting them they were able to get what I needed ordered.

$25/40 lbs Nutrena and Dumor all flock. I always sell enough eggs to cover it, though.

I've found grazing boxes help to supplement and lower feed costs.

I am paying $14/50lb at Rural King. I am in Florida. This is not a fancy feed, but the girls are healthy. I add some oyster shells in the pen area. They get scraps every other day as we eat salads every day so they are getting veggies and protein at no cost.

I have been paying $26.99 for flock raiser at TSC and they eat so much feed it gets expensive. Is this alot for feed? How much do you pay?

Exactly one year ago, $18.49!!!
Wish I hadn't looked it up, but there it is. Why do eggs cost more? Just the feed, if nothing else.
