How much do you sell eggs for?

This is my fist time with my own chicken. Before it was helping take care of my Mothers flock. It has been a while since I have had to deal with selling exrta eggs and I'm curius to know how much is a dozen going for now a days?

I'm in OK and sell a doz. for $2. I could probably get another .50.

I've heard that some people get upwards of $5 in other areas.

But I am just really lucky to live in the area I do and to have ameraucana and marans.

My neighbor gives me $3 and tells everyone else I charge that, but my actual price is $2.50/doz. Lately, selling on the street, I let them have them for $2/doz if they buy at least 2 doz. I'm about to have 18 new layers start up, so I'll have lots of eggs soon. And my fridge isn't huge.

EDITED TO ADD: that's for table eggs, not hatching eggs.

i'm moving to Maryland and buying more egg layers!

out here in Michigan, people get anywhere from $2-4.50 depending on several factors...organic, free-range, color etc.

hope you do egg-ceedingly well!

I was thinking about $2 a dozen here.
I'll be giving more away than anything, Sorta Buttering up all the neighbors for putting up with the Ladies Free Ranging in their yards.

LOL I know its great 3 bucks a day for just feeding them I get at least 6 eggs a day to and usualy 8-10 eggs ! I keep allot for my family use to. I have almost $200 in the eggs money jar and my girls only go through a $12 bag a month ! 1 weeks egg $ covers 1 months feed !
