How Much do you think he's worth?

Marlinchaser is 110% correct. I avoid charging my neighbors for anything and she returns with extra fruit etc when she's got it, and by looking in on our coop from time to time. A little generosity goes a long way. Some people are happier with a cut and dried deal, but our open ended situation suites us fine.

I just took my extra young roos to the poultry auction last night and I averaged 7 dollars apiece for them. They were nice purebred roos, but people unless you find someone who's looking to add new blood to their chickens won't pay much for a roo....at least around here. The most I've ever gotten at the auction for a roo was $11 or $12.

Wow, I take my extra roos to our local livestock auction, and get from $.50 to $3. I got $6.50 for a really nice buff orpington.
