How much do you usually pay for hatching eggs?

Well, a friend of mine has them. They were quite expensive when she bought them, but would never ask for 30 per egg.

Oh she's lucky! I'm stuck with whatever EBay has avaliable and all I'm finding are singles for about that price and egg trios for ~100 before shipping is added.

This probably wouldn’t be until sometime next year but I’m thinking about getting hatching eggs from a local hatchery next spring/winter but they seem extremely expensive. They charge $45-80 a dozen without shipping Buff Orpington and RIR eggs are $60 a dozen! Is this normal?

Not sure what exactly your looking for, type chicken or just some eggs to hatch. craigslist,
