I am trying to figure out how much feed newly hatched chicks will eat in the first week of having them. Does anyone have any approximations on this data? It would be of much help to me. Thanks in advance.

How many chicks? I find a small clutch of 5-6 takes aapproximately a week or so to go through a 5lb bag getting both breakfast and dinner

Trying to find the numbers for each chick. But taking that say 5 chicks need 5lbs in a week that would work out to be 0.71428 lbs for 5 chicks daily and then divided by 5 again, that would mean each chick would require 0.14285 lbs? Does this seem correct? Or is my math off?

Seems right. New chicks crops are TINY but they stuff them as full as possible given the chance, almost as bad as baby pigeons

I'm trying to fill in this chart. Have any idea on any numbers I could add to the cumulative? Anything will help really.

More than you'd expect. You also have to understand that there will be varying amount of feed waste, too. That will depend on what sort of feeders are used. If you're not in a huge hurry, I have a small batch of chicks set to hatch this Friday/Saturday, I will make an effort to measure what is eaten for their first week. I do pretty well avoiding waste by using trough style feeders rather than the round ones or an open container.

My chicks are standard-bred Barred Plymouth Rocks, if it matters.

I'd very much appreciate that! Thank you.
