how much feed does your flock go thru in a week

i have 24 standard egg layers and there eating 35 pounds aweek of layer mash alot less in summer.

I have 45 birds and they go through about 50lbs or more

I have 30 adult hens a 2 roosters they use up 100 lbs a week! Feeders are full 24/7.

I must be doing something wrong. Mine go thru a 50 lb bag in about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. They also get dinnner left overs or stuff from the garden. Should they be eating that much feed?

I have a bunch of chickens (to many to count),in 7 days they go through 100 pounds which is pretty good considering atleast 40 chickens have gone "wild" and prefer to stay in the woods instead of eating the grain I throw out.

I call them the "hippy" flock lol

I have 20 turkeys= 50 lbs floack raiser A DAY!
8 hens, 1 rooster = 50lbs of laying pellets every 2 weeks lots of treats, some freeranging
8 polish hens and 3 peafowl = 50 lbs medicated crumble every two weeks

I offer scratch grains in a shallow pan in all of the coops, but only the peas and polish seem to enjoy them.

42 chickens total. 100 lb each week of layer pellets, then maybe 1/4 bag of scratch or less a week.

I have 25 4 week old chicks and so far they have gone thru 50 pounds of medicated chick starter.
