How much feed if....

my chickens will be free-ranging some..... we will have a portable run/tractor for them during the day so they can be out in the yard...although contained. I know if you free range you feed them less chicken feed. Not sure with our free ranging how much feed they will need.. can anybody help?

I keep feeders out. Fill them when they are empty. The birds will eat what they need.
