About how much chick starter will 4 chicks roughly go through in 6 weeks?

Can't say how long 4 chicks will eat, but my 14 are 23 days and we're just finishing a 50 lb bag. I would guestimate that you could go at least 3x as long with that size. Probably more.

Guesstimate. First, the OP didn't offer the type or breed of chick so, for all we know, they're meaties. Secondly, didn't say the chicks would eat that much, but that chicks can waste 40% of their feed, easily.

What Fred said--they can be very wasteful. I try to prevent this. Put the feeder up to prevent feet scratching in it and spraying the crumble all over and didn't use shavings for a long time; on a cloth that they can clean up their spilled feed. 25 LF ate 50 pounds in 4 1/2 weeks. I'll let you do the math.
