How Much Food?

I have 8+ week old chicks and wondering how much to feed them per day? I have 6 chicks who get to munch on grass during the day in their run and roam for about an hour per day. They're on starter feed now.

A chick feeder always kept filled with feed is what I do for my chicks, who are just a week older than yours. They also get to run around in the grass and eat treats such as small pieces of bread.

This is what I do too. I also have water available so they don't choke.

Some people start around 18wks and others don't start until the chickens are laying. Chicks can't have the extra calcium so don't start until they are older
