If that is the case I will keep them because I paid$5 an egg with shipping cost$2-4 dollars for new chicks, if you kept them till point of lay, maybe $8 -10.
I am thinking I would be better off selling them later than sooner. If I have male and female sell as a pair, I have sold chicks and ducks for a few years and think older is the better option. I was just curious to see what others thoughtI live in a town with a hatchery. I generally will sale any I consider extra chicks for $1-2 but find it just it easier to just raise them with the keeps and sale them as older pullets soon to lay. Those generally sell for $12-20 each around me.

-on the market in your area.
-what line and breeder of Ameraucana's they are from, which denotes the quality of the bird.
-on how good of a marketer you are.(you really should spell Ameraucana correctly)
When selling something it's best to start high, it infers quality and you can always drop the price or have a 'sale'.
POL birds are always worth more, and easier to sell, than straight run chicks.
