I need to come up with a price per pound for the drakes I'm butchering on Saturday. I've looked around on the internet, and find prices as high as $24 per lb, and as low as $5 per lb. I'm not looking to necessarily make a profit, or recoup my costs, just want to not charge too little and later realize I should have charged a bunch more.

Anyone sell dressed ducks? How much do you charge per lb?

Good luck getting those prices. Maple Leaf Farms is based in Indiana, and so is Culver Duck. They make Indiana the #1 duck producer in the country, with over 1,000,000 ducks per month.

A whole fresh duck from Culver will cost $10.60. Liberty Ducks in California charges $2.40 per pound. I charge $2.00 per pound for my Pekins.

Muscovy from a top producer like Grimaud Farms might go for $4 to $5 per pound. I charge $2.50 per lb for muscovies.

Wow, I had no idea. I looked at the store today and saw a frozen whole one from Maple Leaf Farms for $12.50. I thought that was awfully low.

Well, my husband would rather keep all the duck for himself anyway. There are only going to be 4 butchered, and I only have one person interested in buying some.

I'll have to think about it, but I'm guessing we'll make it $8-9 per lb. Then my husband will be happy if we don't sell any, but at least I'm not telling the perspective customer that I'm refusing to sell them, and if they actually pay that much, then at least we made a good profit.
