How much handling?

I'm not worried about handling them TOO much, I'm worried about not getting them socialized well.

We tried some treats today. None of them will take a treat from our hands, but they seemed moderately interested in the strawberries we brought. We've only had them 24 hours, so hopefully they will continue to be less skittish.

Since they were older it will take prob weeks to get them used to you. When I got mine a week ago they were pretty skittish but not bad. Now they come running to my hand and I don't even give them treats I just pick them up. I'm going to start incorporating treats when I go in to pick them up now. Good luck with yours...give them time...they will come around

get a piece of bread and pick a piece off. a little piece and kinda roll it up into a ball. throw it into the brooder. But dont move your arm. or not much. maybe just. flick it with your finger. this usually starts a feeding freenzy. which then. will make them start coming up to you to get the food from your hand,. or usually. dont catch them during this process. after a few times. they will be used to coming up to you for food. then you can start catching/holding them. if you catch them while your trying to get them calm enough to come near you. they'll take the treats as just bait. and wont even touch it afterwards.
