I assume the Maintenance is sufficient dietary wise but their free ranging allows them to forage for goodies and I ALWAYS have produce around the house to offer my kids and us- and I set aside leftovers/scraps of produce and offer it to the birds (chickens mostly but greens go to the geese currently). My geese love greens but reject ALL fruit offerings so far. LOL

But don't they need fat reserves to see them through the winter. By the way I love your web page, great info. Sure wish someone would answer my question, gets pretty cold here.
