How often and how much should I be feeding my 10 chickens?

I am not really sure what that means... I am new to all this...

Just keep the feeder full. I check mine twice daily since I check my birds anyway. Just like the water, all they want.

I made a feeder from a old cat litter bucket cut holes in the bottom. I used a low old cat box pan place bucket into pan feed comes out chickens happy and I fill bucket about once a week just like the waterier I have. Then I just throw the scratch out for them as a treat.

Baby chicks? It is recommended to keep feed available at all times.

Hens? There are two school of management thought. One is having feed always available. Another is to feed rations that are eaten within an hour. Under this program, check feed trays at evening and if there is feed remaining, too much feed is being offered. Excessive feed laying out can encourage rodents.

Chickens manage their own feed intake well. The decision is yours to make as to which method(s) work best for you.
