How much is too much for Ameraucanas?

Not in TX at least. I can't find Blacks hardly ANYWHERE. I'm not even talking show quality. You can't find them on Craigslist or through neighbors or local feed stores. I've only been seeing them through major online hatcheries and as some have suggested, those may not be real deal A's.

Texas should be the easiest state to find black Ameraucanas. Paul Smith is in S Texas and has been breeding quality birds for 20+ years. Most people in Texas have stock from him somewhere down the line. I'll state the obvious that there are 2 breed groups. ABC and AA. Politics. I don't know or care about the specifics but both groups have websites and sale forums. Both have years of breeding to the SOP and any of their culls will be better birds then you will find on CL. Check for FB groups as well.
