How much noise do hens make?

We got our first chickens last year. We have one noisy girl and she's a Black Sex Link. Luckily our neighbors don't mind, but she is much noisier than I expected a chicken to be. She is by far our best layer though, so at least the noise is worth it Our Brown Leghorn and Ameraucana are the quietest.

Stay away from silkies they are very loud I have 11, 9 hens and 2 roos and they make quite a lot of noise. Thankfully I live on 20 Acres and they only bother us.
