For me itis a real big O help, I got all my knowledge about the chickens from here and I love to ask the experts here when I am in trouble. or when my chickens need some help.
what is the most important supject for you on the fourm?
I think this is the best fourm ever on internet barnone, and I really thank all the good ppl who keep this site running.

Every single thing I know about chickens, chicks, hatching, roosters, ducks, and goats, I learned here on BYC. There is no better place for valid information than BYC.

I have found quite a bit. I have got some questions answered. There is a lot of what I call silliness, but that can be fun in moderation. There are some very wise people, that I really like conversing with. I really enjoy it here!

yup..everything i know about my chickens and ducks and geese, i learned here.

Tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons. And maybe a few more tons.I love BYC, very happy I found it! I am sure if I hadnt my chickens wouldnt be nearly as happy.

There is a lot of good information on here......there is also a lot of misinformation that unfortunately I don't think the newbies always realize.

I'm not trying to knock it... but most everything I learned about chickens I learned reading books. (call me old fashioned)

However, to get some preliminary info to further investigate, it has served well. What makes a site like this great is also what could hurt. Like I said, I'm not trying to knock it, but I fear that people may take other members advice into practice without any further research. You can get good sound advice here. I'm just saying that you might not ALWAYS get good sound advice. It may not be the other member's fault either... no one can diagnose and perscribe anything without seeing and touching the animal. And not to mention, it's safe to say that most or maybe all of the members are not vets.

Like I said, use the info as a jumping off point to further do research, is my advice. The information may be dead on, but it also may not.

Everything I've learned about chickens i've learned here. This is the best place to go for information. And friendly advice is always welcome. I saved my first young hen from an injury because of this site and i've saved many chicks from certain death with the help and advice of the fine folks here on BYC. I recommend it to everyone I meet through either selling or giving away chickens.
