It's official - we're chicken parents! We adopted (2) 1 day old Silver Lace Wyandottes, and (2) 2 day old Golden Lace Wyandottes, and they are so friendly and just down right adorable!
I have them in a large plastic storage container set on a card table so I can sit there and watch them. Its so much more entertaining than cable TV
One will grab a pine shaving and run while the others chase it around the brooder. Its hilarious!
They don't sleep much though. Is it normal for them to sleep a minute or two at a time? One will lay down to nap and soon it'll get ran over by another chick, or it'll hear the others and wake up to see what's going on.
