I am curious to know and I know a lot of other new turkey people probly would like to know.

If you let your hen hatch out her poults when can & should you start handling the baby poults?
Are they like other animals and if you touch the poult the mother will abandon it?
Do you recommend handling the poults a lot or just when necessary?
Also for older birds (hens, jakes, & toms) How much you handle them?
My older birds have been handled but their still a pain to catch!!

I think what they are saying is if you try to take a poult from the hen you might have to run for your life.
Turkeys are very protective of the poults.
Now if you hatch in a bator that is different.
