People are ready to buy my poults but I'm not sure how much to sell them. What do you all sell your turkeys for at 2 months old? Here is a pic of them below. I took this pic this weekend. They are 2 months old.

I try to get at least 15.00 at that age and if I can't get it they go in the freezer. Those are nice looking turkeys and are easily worth 15.00 or more.

I got 12 dollars apiece for them at 6 weeks. The next batch I held longer to pick out some breeding stock for next year. They are 10 weeks. I'll be asking 15.00
This is a labor of love more than a money maker for me. If I can recoup feed costs and break even I'm happy. But with extra unforseen expenses that crop up, I rarely do!

I've found many people prefer to buy started birds. No extra brooding under lights to deal with.

Everyone says that they are so big for 2 months old. I have been feeding them 30% protein gamebird starter. One man wants to buy all of them but I have 2 other people who reserved them when the hen had just started setting on her eggs. I wish I had more. My turkey killing chickens got to the hen's eggs on hatch day and killed 8 of the babies. I was furious!

If they are old enough to sex I would put $20 on the toms and $30 for the hens minimum and price a pair at no less than $45. Newly hatched poults are $8 or $9 plus shipping from a hatchery and you have well more than $6 worth of time and feed into those turks.

Nice looking birds by the way.
