How much should I sell them for? Pic Included.

Thank you. And yes, I am able to determine the sex. The gentleman are spreading their feathers, stomping and trying to breed already. I didn't think that they "tried" to breed so early. And the ladies are lowering themselves on the ground for the boys. Although the boys are falling off of the girls, they continue to try.

I tried to tag the girls but the tags fell off, so now I have to wait for the behaviors again and try to tag them again.

Thanks for the suggestions on the prices. I think I will take your advice and up the price. I didn't realize turkeys were in demand.

I think I would search the farm section of craigslist. Call on some of the old adds and see if they sold. Some people are asking huge prices but it doesn't mean they sold them for that. In my area they list very high.

I know My electric bill more than doubles when I am brooding poults. It would be nice to make a profit but if you are honest with all the expense there is no profit. You sell them to get them off the feed bill. Your profit is the enjoyment you get.

Yes, I am working diligently to get them off of my feed bill. The gamebird starter 30% protein is $16.00 for a 50lb bag.

Yep! Then we forget and do it all over again. We even figure out how to have more turkey poults next time. It's crazy.

I agree, people sell day-old turkeys here for $8 each or more, $15 for 2 month old turkeys is practically giving them away IMO.

I just looked at a few hatchery sites and I'm seeing day old turkeys being advertised for $7.65 up to $9.00, so $15.00 is a steal.

$15.00 is a steal. The problem is, depending on what part of the country you're in, you may not get that. But, I'd eat them before I'd take less.
