how much space do chickens need

So we have a 6 foot by 10 foot coop and we were looking to add on to our chicken population. So my question is how many chickens could we have in our 6 ft by 10 ft chicken coop?

15 birds, assuming you're in a moderate climate, with large (not giant) fowl, and nothing eating up floor space like nest boxes.

I agree with @rosemarythyme with the following caveat:
You can put more birds in a coop with a fully predator proof run attached where it is not necessary to close the door between the coop and the run. I have easily housed birds with 3.5 sq ft per bird but with just under 11" of roost space without too much roost time drama.

Another caveat...integration goes much better with more space.
How many birds do you have now and how many did you want to add?
How big is your run?
