How much space is needed??

I am wondering how much coop & run space I need for abou 4-5 regular size chickens. How much for 10-15 Silkies? Thanks!

Large breeds need a minimum of 3 sq feet per bird in the coop and a place to free range or an enclosed in run during the daytime. I give my hens 5 sq feet per bird in the coop and 10 sq feet per bird in the run. I Hope that helps you.
