how much space need 3-4 Muscovy Ducks?

chicken wire 1/2'' I think it's called in English .... ...
not sure what else i can use :(

i will use this --->

with this --->

for the floor wall and roof, and then i will dress it (for protection of wind etc)
Chicken wire won't keep out preds, but I'm not sure what preds you have in Greese, but roaming dogs are a big pred to ducks/chickens. and Neither of those wires will be safe for flooring it will cause major feet problems.

well the dogs they have t past 2 wallst find my coop .... but i am afraid of fox or smaller pred (maybe they climp the walls?) maybe in the half cage (the place that i put the 2 or 3 nest 's for the egg's etc) i can put wood there... hmmmm not sure, i want t make it safe...

Mine don't roost but some folks do put up roosts for theirs but it doesn't have to be high like chickens roosts. You might like to make it so you can walk inside though it's so much easier to clean out. All my duck/chicken/goose house are walk in but 1 and boy is it a dickens to clean much better to be able to walk inside. I have a pic of some of my houses on here in my profile if you want to take a look.

And believe me you'll be glad you built big. I went from 4 Muscovy's when I first started to 15 now. and added chicken and geese into the mix. :)

Ms Lydia, I was looking for the pics of your setup but I can't find it. Can you give a link?

this was our original chicken coop but of course we kept adding chickens so they out grew this, My duck raised her hatchlings here last summer til l they were 3 weeks old I put up temp fence around it to keep the flock from being able to get to the ducklings until they were old enough to get away, the mama went back to her drake and the 3 ducks stayed so i have 2 ducks and 1 drake in this coop. both doors open for clean out and there are vents all round top of front and back and 2 windows on each end for great ventilation, very important when having poultry.

This is the house for the 2 geese but could be used for ducks too.

maybe this will help you get some ideas on what you want to build. and all of these house's except for one was made by using scrap lumber and going to resale stores and buy windows so it doesn't have to cost a fortune, even the metal roofing was given to us, I pay back with eggs.

I put cheap vinyl on the floors over the wood so easy to take care of.

Thanks! How do you think a "hoop coop" like this one made as a greenhouse would work for ducks or geese?

How would you make it secure? what would you put over the cattle panels to make it secure? I like the shape just don't know how you'd make that secure. you have to think like a predator here.

Oh yeah, you can make them real predator proof. Over the cattle panels you either put 2X4 inch welded wire or even hardware cloth. Then over that you put a heavy duty tarp. You can even fix it to where you can raise the sides when it's hot.

Here's a pic of a friend of mine's (Beekissed) coop that she built. You can built one for $200-250.
